We are highly aware of energy efficiency, so that since 2008 we have generated part of the energy that our Martorelles plant consumes through a photovoltaic installation on the roof of our factory and that with a production capacity of 100 kW it has already produced more than 1.5 million kW since it was installed. Following in the wake of this first initiative, very soon we will double our capacity to generate clean energy with the installation of photovoltaic panels on the roof of our warehouse; one more step in complying with the best environmental practices that govern our activity.

We complete this effort to generate electricity for self-consumption with the requirement that our electricity supplier exclusively consume clean energy. To this end, we have just received from Nexus Energía the document that certifies that 100% of the energy served in 2020 to Taver-Instaclack® originates from renewable, environmentally friendly and sustainable sources for the preservation of the planet. The Certificate is endorsed by the National Market and Competition Commission, a public body under the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation. In contrast, we can say that in the same period of time, 2020, the clean electricity consumed in Spain was 44% of the total.
